Your appointment begins with an updated intake and a discussion of your current concerns. Depending on your needs and consent, Dr. Beverly may incorporate acupuncture with needles or acupressure with a magnetic tool, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Korean Hand Therapy, Tui-Na, cupping, Gua Sha, Colorpuncture®, electro stimulation, medical hypnotherapy, tuning forks, crystals, or other complementary energetic and spiritual approaches.

Specialized Scalar Energy Healing Equipment

Specialized Scalar Energy Healing equipment offers a range of selectable settings and tools, including applications intended for comfort and pain support, back concerns, relaxation, sympathetic nervous system support, neuropathy-related concerns, and specialized light applications. Dr. Beverly can discuss whether a particular application is appropriate for your circumstances. These applications should not be understood as guaranteed or scientifically established treatments for medical conditions.

Additional techniques, such as cupping, Gua Sha, or acupressure instruction, may be incorporated without separate modality fees. Colorpuncture® follow-up appointments allow additional time and have a separate price.

Herbal or nutritional products, when recommended, are optional and purchased separately.

Concierge Services & Pricing

Appointment times vary according to the complexity of your concerns, the modalities used, and the care you need. All prices are per appointment and include equipment preparation and cleanup.

Sedona appointments: Prices include an additional $100 allowance for round-trip travel. Scheduling links reserve appropriate travel time before and after the appointment. Services are limited to Cottonwood and Sedona.

Requirements for Your Private Treatment Room

Treatment must take place in a clean, safe, private room reserved for the appointment, whether at a residence, hotel, resort, or other suitable facility. The room must have a bed or massage table for you to lie on, or space for a wheelchair when the treatment permits; a small table or desk for equipment; sufficient room for safe setup; and access to a bathroom. Hospice and assisted living appointments are possible when the facility permits them.

Payment, Rescheduling & No-Shows

Full payment is required when booking. Appointment payments are nonrefundable. You may reschedule with at least one business day's advance notice. If you are unavailable when Dr. Beverly arrives at the agreed location, the appointment is considered a no-show and no refund will be issued. Extraordinary circumstances may be considered individually at the practice's discretion, subject to applicable law.

How Concierge Appointments Work

1. Meet on Zoom. New clients begin with a complimentary 15-minute Zoom consultation to discuss their questions and whether concierge care is appropriate.
2. Receive your private documents and booking link. After your consultation, Dr. Beverly provides the new-patient intake form, Consent to Treatment Form, and the appropriate private scheduling and payment link through Zoom chat. Download and save the documents before leaving the meeting.
3. Prepare for your appointment. Complete the forms and have them ready to give Dr. Beverly when she arrives. You may retain digital copies for your records. Signed originals are maintained in secure physical files.
4. Schedule and pay. Select the appropriate Cottonwood or Sedona appointment using your private link. Full payment is required to confirm your appointment.
5. Receive your personalized care. Your visit includes an updated intake, equipment and treatment setup, approximately 30 minutes of treatment when appropriate, post-treatment discussion, and cleanup. The overall appointment length varies with your needs.

Insurance, Medicare & Superbills

Dancing Bear Healing Center, ADBO LLC, is a private-pay practice. We do not bill Medicare or insurance companies. On request after eligible acupuncture treatment, we can provide a Superbill for you or your representative to use when seeking reimbursement.

Coverage varies by policy, treatment, practitioner eligibility, and other requirements. Medicare acupuncture coverage is restricted and does not mean treatment by this practice is reimbursable. Before booking, you must verify with your own carrier whether your specific policy covers services by a licensed acupuncturist, whether physician involvement or approval is required, and how primary and secondary claims must be processed. Even verified benefits do not guarantee payment. The practice is not responsible for denied claims or unreimbursed expenses.

How to File for Reimbursement

1. Get the Superbill: Pay out-of-pocket for treatment and request a completed Superbill afterward.
2. Obtain the claim form: Contact your insurance carrier for its requirements. You may need a CMS-1500, the carrier's member-submitted claim form, or access to its online portal.
3. Submit: Complete the required patient or subscriber sections, attach the Superbill, and submit the materials through the portal, by fax, or by mail as instructed. If you have Medicare and supplemental, employer, or other coverage, verify the correct claim sequence before submitting.

All new clients must complete a health intake form and a Consent to Treatment Form before services are provided. The consent process explains proposed modalities, relevant risks, confidentiality, and your right to decline an intervention. A parent, legal guardian, or legally authorized health care representative must sign when applicable.

Complementary energetic and spiritual practices are not substitutes for medical diagnosis, emergency services, or ongoing care from your physician or other qualified health professional. Some complementary modalities have not been scientifically established as effective medical treatments. No particular outcome is guaranteed.
