From Dancing Bear Healing Center (DBHC) to Concierge Acupuncture
Dancing Bear Healing Center now has its home in the Concierge Acupuncture & Holistic Health Care area of the ADBO website. Beverly Lawrence, Ph.D., L.Ac. now provides treatments at your location in Cottonwood and Sedona, Arizona, continuing the whole-person approach of her earlier practice without the overhead of maintaining a separate office. Your location must provide a bed, massage table, or recliner where the patient can rest comfortably. Treatment may also be provided while the patient remains in a wheelchair when appropriate. Dr. Beverly does not bring a massage table.
The Evolution of Dr. Beverly's Holistic Health Practice
In the early 1990s, Dancing Bear Alternative Healing Center was established, offering Medical Hypnotherapy, Energy Healing, Shamanic Healing, gemstones, essential oils, and other metaphysically oriented therapies. The Dancing Bear Alternative Healing Center and the Dancing Bear Way websites were the main websites for marketing this work.
In 2002, Dr. Beverly moved to Arizona to attend naturopathic medical school, followed by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) medical school. After graduating in 2008, she worked under one of her teachers before opening her own clinic in 2010. The business and website became Dancing Bear Healing Center. Her assessment and treatment methods expanded to include TCM, acupuncture, light therapy, Scalar Energy therapy, a therapeutic mat with PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) and far-infrared therapy, herbal medicine, and supportive techniques such as Tui Na, Gua Sha, cupping, and moxibustion.
In 2020, Dr. Beverly moved to Cottonwood and opened the DBHC clinic in a room of her home. Her previous, larger office had accommodated in-person classes. She moved that training online and developed the Dancing Bear Enlightenment Academy (DBEA) programs, websites, and app. Medical Astrology was later added as another framework for exploring patterns alongside her existing holistic assessment methods.
In 2026, Dr. Beverly brought her programs, websites, and resources together under ADBO.com. Dancing Bear Healing Center continues through Concierge Acupuncture & Holistic Health Care, offering individualized care at your location in Cottonwood and Sedona. Her broader work also includes Medical Astrology consultations, private online sessions, facilitated programs, and educational resources supporting holistic health, spiritual exploration, and personal transformation.
