About Holistic Health Assessments
A whole-person approach to recognizing patterns involving the soul, mind, nervous system, body, lifestyle, and overall well-being.
Holistic Health and Healthy Living
True wellness is more than the absence of illness. It is a dynamic relationship among the Soul, Mind, Nervous System, and Body, supported by choices that honor your unique needs.
A Holistic Health Assessment helps you step back from isolated concerns and look for relationships among your history, present concerns, daily habits, environment, stress patterns, nourishment, rest, and other influences on well-being. This broader view can help you ask better questions and make more informed choices.
What Is a Holistic Health Assessment?
What is reviewed? The assessment begins with a detailed history of your health concerns, recurring patterns, lifestyle, nourishment, sleep, stress, environment, and other factors that may be influencing how you feel and function.
How does it work? After reviewing your completed assessment form, Beverly Lawrence, Ph.D., L.Ac. meets with you on Zoom to explore your primary concerns and clarify important patterns in greater depth. If your concerns require diagnosis, treatment, medication review, testing, or another type of care, she may recommend that you consult an appropriate licensed healthcare provider before continuing.
What do I receive? You receive an individualized summary of the patterns discussed, together with practical options you may wish to consider involving diet, lifestyle, daily rhythms, self-care, and other holistic resources. These are educational suggestions, not a diagnosis or treatment plan. Because each person responds differently, a follow-up assessment may be useful for reviewing what you observed and refining the options under consideration.
Why is it different from generic wellness information? General advice cannot account for your history, circumstances, priorities, resources, or the way several influences may interact. The assessment organizes information around you as a whole person so you can recognize connections, ask better questions, and make more informed decisions.
How are Five Element principles used? Five Element relationships may be used as one framework for organizing observations and exploring patterns among daily rhythms, seasons, emotions, nourishment, environment, and overall well-being. The framework supports inquiry and pattern recognition; it is not used here to provide an online diagnosis or treatment.
How can Medical Astrology be added? When an accurate birth time is available, Medical Astrology can add another symbolic framework for exploring natal tendencies, timing, life cycles, and current transits. It adds a different perspective to the Holistic Health Assessment but does not replace medical evaluation, testing, diagnosis, or treatment.

- Life transitions, environmental influences, creativity, and personal expression.

Benefits of an Assessment
A Holistic Health Assessment can help organize a large amount of personal information into a clearer picture. Its value is not in promising a particular health outcome, but in helping you recognize patterns and make more thoughtful decisions about self-care and when to seek additional support.
- A whole-person view rather than focusing on one concern in isolation.
- Greater awareness of recurring patterns and possible contributing influences.
- Connections among the Soul, Mind, Nervous System, Body, lifestyle, and environment.
- More focused questions to discuss with physicians or other qualified providers.
- Personalized options to consider for nourishment, rest, movement, daily rhythms, and self-care.
- Recognition of habits or circumstances that may be working against your present goals.
- A clearer way to observe your responses to changes over time.
- Support in distinguishing general wellness information from what may be relevant to you.
- Greater clarity, self-awareness, and confidence when making informed choices.
- A reference point for a later follow-up assessment.
